What is the CEF Stamp Saving Program?

The Church Extension Fund is an investment program available to our students that helps start a savings of their own. Each week, children have an opportunity to ‘buy’ CEF Savings Stamps in increments of 25¢ or $1. These stamps are placed in a booklet that shows them how much money they have saved. The savings account also accrues interest over time The CEF program also helps provide low-interest loans to Lutheran congregations in Michigan. The loans help build new churches and schools. By saving with CEF, kids learn how to save money, as well as how their money and actions can be used to bless others.

Mrs. Vogtmann is Zion’s CEF Stamp Representative. She has spent countless Thursdays in our library helping our kids with this amazing program. She can also answer any others questions any parents may have She is a blessing!!
