In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week... we would like to share all of our amazing teacher bios again this week! ❤️🤩Spring Break Teacher Spotlight: Kelsey Splattstoesser! “I am 25 years old and have been married to my loving husband Logan for a year and a half. I lived most of my life in Frankenmuth and went to St. Lorenz Lutheran School and then graduated from Frankenmuth High School. I chose to play volleyball at Mott community college for two years and then went on to play volleyball at Concordia University Nebraska. There I met my husband and graduated with my bachelors degree in education. We chose to move back to Frankenmuth and still live there now. I worked at an autism center for a year but really felt the Lord calling me to teach. After applying to a few preschool positions, Zion called me and asked if I would be interested in an interview. From that point on I felt so welcomed from the school and staff, Zion is such a wonderful place to be! Everyone is willing to help you with anything you need. We support each other and truly show Gods love every chance we can. I have never been apart of a smaller school, but the family atmosphere is truly contagious you can’t help but want to be apart of it all.” ... See MoreSee Less

What a fun story! Thanks for sharing!

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week... we would like to share all of our amazing teacher bios again this week! ❤️🤩Spring Break Teacher Spotlight: Sadie Priem! “I was born and raised in Charlotte, Michigan. I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2007 with my teaching certificate and two bachelor degrees. Adventure was calling me, so I took a kindergarten/first grade loop position in Bethel, Alaska. I taught in the bush for 6 amazing years. I met my husband, Ben- who was also from Michigan, in Alaska, and was married in 2013. We decided to come home to be near family. Work was hard to find in the area so we moved to Oklahoma for a bit and then settled along the Colorado River in Arizona. I found a teaching job over the border in Blythe, California, but did not stay long- turns out I was not fond of the desert. We flew back to Michigan after a year. My husband has been a Zion life member, and after church one day, the principal at the time asked me to interview for a position. One of my first thoughts after accepting the position was- Cool! I can talk about God in the classroom! My first year teaching here we welcomed Piper to our family. I've been with Zion for about 5 years now. The Holy Spirit pulled me here- it felt so right to work at Zion and to join the Zion family. This is where I want my daughter to have an education and to learn about Jesus- from people who love and care about her spiritual growth like I do. The people I work with are exceptional and the families that bless us by bringing their children here are wonderful!” ... See MoreSee Less
