School Mission

We create an education immersed in the good news of Christ for students and families. Our mission is to foster a daily relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our faculty and staff are dedicated to impacting and developing academic talents and skills dedicated for Christian living and service.

What's New this Year

EDUCATION
We are offering multi-grade classrooms, where students of different ages and grades learn and work together.

ZION’S SCHOOL LEADERS
As we get ready for the new school year, our staff had time to become Connected, which is our 2023/2024 theme, from John 15:5.

MUSIC & ARTS
We know that connecting the classroom learning to those everyday moments supports a parent’s role as a child’s first and best teacher.

Our Easter Cantata will be such a blessing this weekend in worship as we gather on Saturday afternoon at 5 and Sunday morning at 9:30. We rejoice in Jesus' victory over sin, the devil and death. Following our Saturday worship, the Fun Fair takes place at school as we enjoy some beautiful moments for fellowship in raising funds to support our mission to share Jesus' love and care for all!

"Crown Him the Lord of life,
Who triumphed o'er the grave
And rose victorious in the strife,
For those He came to save!" (LSB 525)

The picture doesn’t do justice. It is beautiful!

What a happy day for our Zion family as Harper was baptized as part of our Easter chapel. We focused on these words from Romans 6, “For if we have been united with Him in a death like His, we shall certainly be united with Him in a resurrection
like His.” This is the mission and purpose of Zion--to share Jesus' love and care for all and what better way to do that than to share the saving work of Jesus as He forgives our sins, rises from the grave and gives Himself to us in the water and Word of holy Baptism. Celebrate with us today as we rejoice in this gift of love.

"In the water, in the Word,
In His promise, be assured:
Those who are baptized and believe
Shall be born again.
Father welcomes all His children
To His fam’ly through His Son.
Father giving His salvation,
Life forever has been won."

Our students wrapped up their Holy Week Scavenger Hunt by celebrating the joy and wonder of Easter. As they shared what Easter means, our kindergarten students spent some time putting together an Easter sticker activity. Tomorrow in chapel, we get to experience even more Easter as one of our students will be baptized. What an amazing way to remember that in Baptism we are united to the death and resurrection of Jesus. This is the work and ministry of Zion Lutheran School to share Jesus' love and care for all! ...
