Thank you for considering Zion Lutheran School for your children’s education. Here we provide Daycare, Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education for all those who attend our school. We have an excellent teaching staff that will work with your children in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, making sure their needs are met.

Zion congregation members are committed to the ministry of our day school. They provide facilities, materials, and prayers, along with part of the cost for each student to attend Zion School. The members of Zion Church partner with parents being committed to our students making them well educated in all subjects and technology, and ready for high school and college.
Families that choose to become members of our Zion Community, volunteering their time as well as financial support, are eligible for scholarships to help families reduce their tuition costs.

Tuition needs to be paid in full by August 1 of the beginning of each school year.
SMART – Tuition payable in ten installments starting in August and ending in May. There is a convenience fee for monthly billing per family. This fee does not apply to those who pay annually or semi-annully.
Tuition assistance is available for grades K – 8th. This program is nationally recognized and endorsed by the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod School Services Department.
We chose Smart Tuition for its features, options, and overall convenience for families. Its customer service team is accessible, efficient, and friendly. Smart Tuition has been providing this service to schools and parents for more than 25 years and it serves more than 3,000 schools nationwide.
By shifting our tuition processing to Smart Tuition, here are some of the benefits you can expect:
New payment processing methods
- Pay by check or by debiting your checking or savings account.
- Submit payment by mail, by phone, over the web, or via mobile apps.
- Set-up auto-bill options for checking/savings account payments, meaning you never have to worry about forgetting a bill.
Online account management
- Edit your profile online, including payment options, etc.
- Access and print monthly billing details and payment history.
- Make payments through a secure website or mobile app.
- Review your payment history, including when your last payment was received.
Flexible billing and reminder options
You will be able, with auto-bill, to choose to receive a reminder via email or text of your upcoming payment 10 days before your due date or
You will be able to choose to receive paper invoices 20 days in advance of the due date.
You will have access to Smart Tuition customer service staff. Through a toll-free number, can speak with a live agent or do live chat.
In August, a Smart Tuition account will be created for you. We ask you to monitor your email accounts (including the junk/spam folder) as you will receive a confirmation email that an account has been created. The email will come from email@example.com with the subject line “Zion Lutheran School: Setting up your account with Smart Tuition.”
Once you receive the email, please click on the unique link within the email to be directed to the enrollment page. Review the parent, guardian, or bill payer’s contact information. Please verify your telephone number and email address as Smart Tuition regularly communicates important information about your account.
Please review the payment plans offered and select the one that works best for you. The plans listed are what we have selected as a school and cannot be changed by Smart Tuition. Next, select your preferred payment method and due date from the options offered.
Review Smart Tuition’s terms and conditions. Click SUBMIT ENROLLMENT to complete your online enrollment. Billing will be applied to your account after you complete your enrollment for a Smart Tuition account.

How do I access my account information?
Parents will log into Smart Tuition’s site (parent.smarttuition.com), click on First Time User and update their password. Parents do require their 13-digit Smart Tuition account ID as part of the identification process to update their password. Upon completing enrollment on enrollwithsmart.com, parents will receive a confirmation email that contains that ID.
After updating their password, parents will then log into the school portal to enable Single Sign On. They will go to the “ON” Resource Board and click on Smart Tuition. This will prompt them to enter the updated Smart Tuition password. This is a one-time process to initiate set-up. From that point forward, parents can access Smart Tuition from the school portal “ON” Resource Board.
How do you pay?
There are two available options for you to choose from:
- Credit Card – Mastercard, Visa, Discover, or American Express cards are accepted. A 2.85 percent convenience fee will be assessed to the payer for all credit card transactions.
- Automatic Debit (aka – ACH) from your checking or savings account. There is no convenience fee for auto debit payments.
- Payment by mail to Smart Tuition (checks or money order payable to Smart Tuition). Smart Tuition does not accept cash payments. On your check, in the memo section, please include your 13-digit Smart Tuition account ID. This number starts with 13769. There is no convenience fee for mail-in payments.
Additional methods to make payment:
- A payment can be made through the Smart Tuition secure website.
- A payment can be made over the phone by calling Smart Tuition’s toll-free customer service line: (888)868-8828.
- Online payment initiated from your bank or financial institution. Please note that your financial institution does not electronically transfer the payment over to Smart Tuition. They will mail a check to Smart Tuition. To ensure your payment is received on time, please set up your online bill pay to occur 7-10 days before your due date.
How do I get billed?
If the primary account holder elects to make payments through the mail, Smart Tuition will mail the invoice approximately 20 days before your due date. If an automatic debit from a checking or savings account has been selected, you will receive a welcome letter at the beginning of the school year and a reminder email each month. These emails are sent approximately 10 days before your scheduled due date and will contain the debit amount.
Your complete billing information will be available online. It is NOT shared with the school or any third party vendors.
Can I switch my payment method?
Your payment method may be changed by contacting Smart Tuition’s parent support center, your school’s business office or on our secure website. A minimum of three business day’s notice is required to make changes or updates to your payment method.
What happens if there is a late payment?Smart Tuition will contact the primary account holder by telephone and email if a payment is not received, in full, by the due date selected. A late fee of $40 will be assessed to your account if it is not made current.
What happens if a payment fails? In the event that your payment fails, a $30 bank fee will be posted to your account. Your payment will be re-attempted 10 days later if the initial payment failed. If you know the second attempt will fail, you must contact the school immediately to review. If the re-attempt fails, another $30 bank fee will be assessed to the account.
Who do I call if I have a question about my account? If you have any questions regarding your account activity or are in need of assistance, contact the Smart Parent Support Center at (888) 868-8828.
What are the hours for the Smart Parent Support Center?
You can reach a live agent during the hours listed below. After hours and during periods of high call volume, your call will be answered by the automated attendant. This system can answer the vast majority of your questions.

ShopWithScrip.com is the online ordering system that our organization will use to gather family scrip orders. Using your free ShopWithScrip account, you will be able to order scrip anytime you’re connected to the internet. It’s so convenient.
How to Register
To place your scrip orders, you need to first create a ShopWithScrip account. Go to www.shopwithscrip.com and click on the ‘Register’ button at the top of the page. Next, click ‘Join a Scrip Program’. You will need to enter our school’s unique enrollment code. It is ABLL8DA514586 (all caps.)
Next, fill in all the required information and click ‘Register’. You will be asked to select two challenge questions and provide answers, which will be required if you forget your password. Keep in mind that your answers are case-sensitive.
You can manage your account through your Dashboard, which you can access by clicking the ‘Dashboard’ link at the top of any page Form here, you can check your account activity, change your profile and password, add, remove, and modify organizations you belong to, and read coordinator announcements. You can also run your own order and rebate history reports and view or print any ScripNow eCards that you’ve previously ordered.
It’s Easy to Order
You can login and place orders a few different ways:
- Shop Tab: Looking for a gift? Not sure what’s available? Click ‘Shop’ at the top of the page and use this feature to sort products and browse by category, card type, or rebate percentage.
- Express Order: Know exactly what you want? Quickly add the items to your cart using this feature.
- Shopping Lists: Order the same products each week? Add these items to a shopping list for easy ordering, then set reminders so you get an email when it’s time to place another order.
How do I purchase SCRIPT?
Some cards are ready available in the school office or an order can be placed †on Monday in school office for SCRIP cards. Your order is then delivered on Wednesday afternoon.
How do I know my SCRIPT is applied to my tuition?
Your balance can be shared with you by contacting Nancy Bailey or a year-end statement is provided.
What types of SCRIP is available?
The SCRIP gift card program has cards from restaurants, shopping centers, hardware stores, movie theaters, and car washes. A detailed list is available in the school or church office.
Can I shop online with SCRIP?
SCRIP cards work just like gift cards. †If your favorite store accepts gift cards online then the SCRIP card will work.
